Odisha win in junior women hockey

Mysore: Odisha registered their second win in a row as they defeated Punjab 3-0 in the 4th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship, here today.

In the Pool D match, Hockey Odisha took control of the match early when skipper Ambika Toppo (9th minute) converted a penalty corner to open team's account.

Second goal also came from a penalty corner strike by Ashmita Barla (33rd), and was followed by Sarojini Ekka's field goal in the 54th minute.
