Bhubaneswar: It certainly was a proud moment for Sushree Dibyadarshini Pradhan from Odisha and all Odias when the Board of Council for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the teams for upcoming Women's T20 Challenge to be played in Jaipur. Dibya, the Odisha all-rounder is the lone girl from the State named in one of the three teams- 'Velocity' which will be led by senior Indian player Mithali Raj.

Dibya was also the captain of India Green for the U-23 Women's One-Day Challenger Trophy, which was recently played in Ranchi from 20 to 24 April, 2019.

As per sources, Harmanpreet Kaur will be leading the Supernovas, while Smrithi Mandhana and Mithali Raj will Captain team Trailblazers and team Velocity respectively.

All eyes will be now on Dibya as the tournament will be played between May 6 and May 11 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

India’s best cricketers and future stars will be joined by international players from England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in a four-match tri-series.
