During a recent spiritual visit to Haridwar, Ziva accompanied her mother, Sakshi Dhoni, to the sacred Har Ki Pauri ghat, where the duo sought blessings from Maa Ganga.

The mother-daughter pair also spread happiness by distributing food among devotees, a gesture that quickly drew attention online. But what truly melted hearts was a sweet, viral moment from their visit.

“I Want to Become a Naturalist!”

In a video that surfaced from the trip, ten-year-old Ziva was asked what she wanted to be when she grew up. Without hesitation, she replied, “I want to become a naturalist!” Her answer took everyone by surprise — a delightful reminder that even star kids dream beyond the spotlight.

The questioner was quick to praise her, saying, “It’s a very unique thing for a girl of ten years. Wonderful!”

With a proud smile, Sakshi added, “I hope she becomes one.”

A Love for Nature from the Start

This isn’t the first time Ziva’s fascination with nature has come to light. In an earlier chat with the Hyderabad Chronicle, Sakshi shared a glimpse into her daughter’s curious mind.

“Ziva is a bit of both of us. She is currently interested in becoming a naturalist and has a lot of questions about the environment and animals,” Sakshi had revealed - proving that Ziva’s dream isn’t a passing fancy, but a reflection of her growing love for the planet.

The Dhonis: A Family That Values Simplicity

While MS Dhoni’s cricketing career made him one of India’s most iconic figures, his family’s grounded nature continues to inspire. The love story between Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi began back in 2007 at Kolkata’s Taj Bengal Hotel, where Sakshi was interning.

A mutual friend introduced them, and Dhoni was instantly captivated. Their private romance soon blossomed into marriage - an intimate ceremony in Dehradun in 2010. 

Their daughter Ziva, born in February 2015 during the Cricket World Cup, has since grown up largely away from media glare.
