Abu Dhabi: SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper David Warner on Sunday won the toss and opted to field against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 35th IPL 2020 match at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. KKR scored 163 runs at a loss of 5 wickets. With a winning target of 164 runs, SRH begins its quest.

Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi were the opening pairs for KKR. However, by the end of the powerplay, Thangarasu Natarajan dismissed Tripathi at 23 runs off 16 balls. KKR's score was 48 runs with the dismissal of its first wicket.

Gill got a life on the field as Rashid dropped his catch. However, Rashid took his revenge by dismissing him. Gill scored 36 runs off 37 balls with 5 boundaries. Next, it was Nitish Rana's turn who departed at 29 runs while facing Vijay Shankar's ball. Priyam Garg caught the two brilliant catches helping to dismiss the two wickets at a crucial time.

Andre Russell also departed early while scoring only 9 runs. Natarajan took the big wicket while KKR was at 105 runs at 14.6 overs.

Eoin Morgan scored 34 runs off 23 balls, but was dismissed by Basil Thampi in the last ball of the innings. While Dinesh Karthik scored 39 runs off 14 balls. The partnership of Morgan and Karthik took the total score of the team to 163 runs.

Natarajan got 2 wickets sparing 40 runs in 4 overs while Thampi, Shankar and Rashid got one wicket each sparing 46, 20 and 28 runs respectively.

SRH have made two changes to their side which last featured against Chennai Super Kings. Basil Thampi comes in place of Khaleel Ahmed and Abdul Samad replaces Shahbaz Nadeem.

KKR also have made two changes to the side which played against Mumbai Indians. They have brought in Kuldeep Yadav and Lockie Ferguson for Prasidh Krishna and Chris Green.
