Abu Dhabi: SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) won the toss and chose to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Friday. RCB scored 131 runs at a loss of 7 wickets. SRH needs 132 runs to win the match.

Devdutt Padikkal and RCB skipper Virat Kohli were the opening pairs. RCB got a big jolt in the 2nd over with early departure of Kohli. Kohli departed scoring only 6 runs and Jason Holder took the big wicket.

Next, it was Padikkal who scored only one run and departed in the 4th over. Again, it was Holder who grabbed his 2nd wicket while RCB's score on board was 15 runs.

RCB lost two wickets in the powerplay with 32 runs on the board.

The slow pace continued till the halfway. Though Aaron Finch got a record of scoring 2000 runs in the match, he departed in the 11th over scoring 32 runs off 29 balls. Shahbaz Nadeem took the big wicket smashing hopes of RCB fans.

In the same over, Moeen Ali also got run out scoring no runs.

However, AB de Villiers took a steady stand lifting the team's total score to 93 runs by the end of 15 overs with loss of 4 wickets. de Villiers's score stood at 45.

Meanwhile, Holder struck back again dismissing Shivam Dube in the 16th over. Dube scored 8 runs while the team's score stood at 99. On the other side, AB de Villiers scored a half-century.

Washington Sundar departed in the 18th over scoring only 5 runs. de Villiers even couldn't stand for a long time. T Natarajan got the two wickets. de Villiers scored 56 runs of 42 deliveries.

Navdeep Saini and Mohammed Siraj were the last standing batsmen scoring 9 and 10 runs respectively.

SRH went into the match without in-form opener-cum-wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha, and Sreevats Goswami replaced him.

RCB made three changes in the XI. Chris Morris, who has a quadriceps injury, Josh Philippe and Shahbaz Ahmed were also excluded while Adam Zampa, Aaron Finch, and Navdeep Saini came in.
