Abu Dhabi: Delhi Capitals (DC) won the toss and elected to bowl in 42nd match of 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) here on Saturday. KKR scored 194 runs in the first innings at a loss of 6 wickets. Half-centuries of Nitish Rana and Sunil Narine helped KKR to post a winning target of 195 runs for DC.
In a first blow to KKR, Anrich Nortje dismissed Shubman Gill in the 2nd over. Gill scored 9 runs off 8 balls with two boundaries.
Again it was Nortje who took the second wicket of KKR in the session. Nortje bowled Rahul Tripathi in the sixth over while he could score only 13 runs off 11 balls.
By the end of the powerplay, KKR had lost 2 wickets with only 36 runs onboard.
Next it was Dinesh Karthik who departed scoring only 3 runs off 6 balls. Kagiso Rabada dismissed Karthik in the 8th over.
However, after the fall of three wickets of KKR, a steady partnership of Narine and Rana with a brilliant 60 runs unbeaten partnership scaled up KKR's total score.
Nitish Rana scored his 10th IPL half-century in 35 deliveries and continued his innings.
Meanwhile, Sunil Narine scored a brilliant fifty which was his 4th half century in IPL. However, Rabada dismissed him at 64. Narine scored 64 runs off 32 balls with six boundaries and 4 sixes.
Next it was Marcus Stoinis who dismissed Rana in the last over. Rana departed scoring 81 runs off 53 balls with 13 boundaries and one six.
Even in the last ball, Stoinis dismissed Eoin Morgan. Morgan scored 17 off 9 balls.

Nortje, Rabada and Stoinis each took two wickets in the innings.
Spinner Sunil Narine, whose bowling action has been cleared by the IPL Suspect Bowling Action Committee, was included in the KKR playing XI for the first time since his last game on October 10.
Pace bowler Kamlesh Nagarkoti too was brought in while spinner Kuldeep Yadav and batsman Tom Banton were left out by the Kolkata franchise.
For Delhi Capitals, Anrich Nortje has returned while Ajinkya Rahane has replaced Prithvi Shaw.
