The excitement among fans has reached its zenith ahead of the crucial IPL tie between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and rebranded Delhi team-Delhi Capitals (DC) to be played at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground tonight.

After the win against RCB, CSK is expected to go all guns blazing against their match against Delhi. However, the fans also expect a strong fight by Delhi Capitals riding on the form of Sikhar Dhawan.

Ahead of the crucial fifth match of the IPL 2019, here’s a quick look on the players to watch out for:

Chennai Super Kings

MS Dhoni- Wicketkeeper- Batsman, MS Dhoni joined his team ahead of the season-opening match. Well known as captain cool, Dhoni remains favourite for his proficiency in decision making, strike rate in the IPL seasons. He has a highest unbeaten score of 79 runs off just 44 balls.

Suresh Raina- With nearly 5,000 runs under his belt in IPL, Suresh Raina can be a dangerous for the opposition both with the bat as well as with his superb fielding skills.

Ravindra Jadeja- Ravindra Jadeja is the all-rounder in the CSK team. Jadeja was found back into his form in the end of the international matches and has carried forward it to the IPL. Jadeja took 3 wickets in the opening match against RCB. More can be expected from the all-rounder in today’s match.

Harbhajan Singh- Harbhajan Singh delivered a magnificent performance by taking 3 wickets in 4 overs in the last match against RCB. Bhaji maintains his pace on the field and could prove to be dangerous for Delhi Capitals.

Imran Tahir- With a superb performance in the first match, the morale of Imran Tahir is high. After scalping three wickets, Tahir will be looking forward to weave magic with the ball against the Delhi Capitals tonight.

Delhi Capitals

Sikhar Dhawan- The ‘Gabbar’ has his eyes on the World Cup. The most stylish left-handers in the Indian team is looking to secure a World Cup berth by riding on the IPL performance. "A good IPL will help me stay in rhythm for World Cup,” said Dhawan who scored 43 runs from 36 deliveries with a strike rate of 119.44 in last match.

Rishabh Pant- Rishabh Pant is clear with his intentions for World Cup. His incredible innings against Mumbai Indians may put the CSK bowlers into trouble. Pant is of course a treasure for Delhi Capitals.

Colin Ingram- Colin Ingram scored 47 runs with 8 boundaries in just 32 balls in the first match against SRH. He won't stay behind from fetching runs for his team and the bowlers of the opponent team would definitely prepare a different strategy for today's match.

Ishant Sharma- Delhi Capitals boasts with the perfect combination of spin and fast bowlers and Ishant Sharma leads the bowling attack. After taking 2 wickets in the last match, Ishant will certainly implement some new strategy to restrict CSK batsmen from scoring freely.

Kagiso Rabada- CSK batsmen won't dare to take Kagiso Rabada of Delhi Capitals lightly as he played a crucial role to help his team to post a win against the mighty Mumbai Indians in the last match.
