New Delhi: Defending champions Indian National FC will take on Indian Air Force in the final of the Umesh Sood memorial football tournament for the Himalaya Premier Cup to be held at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday.

Indian National FC qualified for the final after beating Sudeva Moonlight FC 3-2 while the Indian Air Force team thrashed Youngmen 4-0 in the semi-finals of the eight-team competition.

The final will be graced by Parvesh Verma, Lok Sabha member from Delhi, a Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) release said.

Earlier on Friday, an exhibition match between DSA Veterans XI and Delhi Sports Journalist Association (DSJA) was played in memory of Umesh Sood, who was DSA President for eight years.
