Bhubaneswar: The 3 ODIs and 3 T20s to be played between Indian Women Cricket Team (A) and Bangladesh Women’s Team in Odisha was called off due to lack of proper lodging facilities in Bhubaneswar.

Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) working committee chairman Dhiren Palei on Friday informed that the matches scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar between November 27 and December 12 was called off over lack of proper lodging for the players.

Earlier on Thursday, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had informed OCA to host the matches.

Palei had informed that none of the matches were to be played at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, keeping in view of the upcoming T20 match between India and Sri Lanka on December 20.

The matches were to be conducted at DRIEMS Ground, KIIT Stadium and VIKAS Grounds.
