Bhubaneswar: Captain of Men’s hockey team of Netherlands, Billy Baker, is quite optimistic about winning the Men's Hockey World Cup scheduled to begin at Kalinga Stadium from November 28.

In an exclusive interview to OTV, the Dutch captain said "During 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, we secured 3rd place while we finished as runners-up in the 2014 World Cup. Hopefully, this time we will win the cup,” Baker said.

Talking about his team’s preparation, Baker said, "We are well-prepared for the World Cup and have a good feeling. Our players are quite experienced and have played well in big tournaments recently.”

“Many of our team members including me have played in the Hockey India league before so weather conditions are not a problem here," Baker said.
