Bhubaneswar:Team Argentina arrived in capital city to grand reception at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) to participate in the Hockey World Cup scheduled to begin on November 28.

According to sources, to ensure safety of the foreign players and guests, extensive security arrangements have been made by the police across the city.

On the other hand, hockey team of South Africa is expected to land in Bhubaneswar today evening.

Amidst the hockey fever, several fans were left disappointed yesterday after they failed to buy tickets for the inaugural ceremony to be held at Kalinga Stadium on November 27 and the second event which will be held a day later at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

The tournament will witness 16 top teams battle for supremacy in front of thousands of spectators at the iconic Kalinga Stadium.
