Suryavanshi’s meteoric rise has been fuelled by a rare blend of fearlessness and control. Whether in England’s seaming conditions, Australia’s pace-friendly tracks, or South Africa’s bouncy surfaces, the young opener has delivered decisive knocks with remarkable regularity. His power-hitting ability, especially his ease in clearing the boundary, has set him apart from his peers and established him as a standout talent in Under-19 cricket.

Fresh from making an impression in the IPL last season, the Rajasthan Royals youngster continues to build momentum ahead of another IPL campaign and the upcoming Under-19 World Cup. Leading the Indian Under-19 side for the first time, Suryavanshi marked the occasion in emphatic style during the final Youth ODI against South Africa. The captain produced a dazzling 127 off just 74 balls, an innings studded with 10 towering sixes and nine boundaries, dismantling the Proteas attack and sealing the series on a high.
