India produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat South Africa by seven wickets, reclaiming momentum and taking a 2–1 lead in the five-match T20I series. After a disappointing loss in Mullanpur, the defending champions responded emphatically, chasing down the target inside 16 overs to underline their dominance.

Winning the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav opted to bowl first, a decision that paid rich dividends. The Indian bowling unit delivered a disciplined display, keeping the South African batters under constant pressure. All bowlers contributed as the visitors were restricted to a modest total of 117.

Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakaravarthy were the standout performers, picking up two wickets each while maintaining impressive economy rates.
