Shenzhen: China's Grand Slam winner Ding Ning and rising superstar Wang Manyu made it to the women's singles final of the ITTF World Tour China Open table tennis tournament on Saturday night.

Olympic champion Ding crushed Japan's Shibata Saki in women's singles semi-finals, finishing in four sets: 11-2, 11-7, 11-9, 11-6, reports Xinhua news agency.

Ding's teammate Wang secured another place in the final after defeating Japan's Ito Mima, helping China lock the champion of women's singles.

It was a reunion for the two players after the Hong Kong Open semi-finals, this time Wang made it again, stopping Mima's revenge in 5 sets: 11-8, 12-10, 11-5, 10-12, 11-8.

Wang, the winner of the Hong Kong Open, said that she will try her best in the final.
