Barabati to host Federation Cup football tournament from May 7

Cuttack: The Hero Federation Cup football tournament is going to start at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack from Sunday. All the arrangements by Football Association of Odisha (FAO) are on its final stages while teams participating in the tournament have started their practice.

Football enthusiasts of Odisha will be able to see internationally acclaimed Indian footballers like Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh and Jeje Lalpekhlua playing in the tournament. Similarly, some foreign footballers including Sony Norde and Katsumi Yusa will also be seen in the event.

The first match will be held between East Bengal and Churchill Brothers on Sunday 4 pm. Later at 7 pm Aizawl Football Club will challenge Chennai City Football Club. The players can be seen practicing at Ravenshaw Ground, Dreams Ground and Satyabrata Ground, ahead of the match

The price range of the tickets is set between Rs 30 and Rs 200. Audience can buy the tickets from today.
