Vodafone idea which is battling to keep itself up as the country’s leading telecom operator ahead of Reliance Jio, has come up with a revised daily data plan for its consumers.

According to sources, Vodafone idea has refreshed its Rs 255 plan to offer more data than before. Under the recharge, users will be able to use 2.5GB of data per day for 28 days. The new plan will offer 70GB of data benefit to the customers on a monthly basis.

Along with the extended data plan, users will still be able to make unlimited calls along with 100 SMS per day with the revised pack. The new pack also allows customers to have exclusive access to Vodafone Play where they can watch online TV shows, movies and much more.

Earlier the company had rolled out its Rs 229 plan which came with a 2 GB high speed data per day for 28 days.

The new pack will take on Reliance Jio’s Rs 299 and Bharti Airtel’s pack at the same rate.  While Jio comes with a 3 GB high speed data per day along with unlimited calls and 100 free SMS per day with validity for 28 days. Users will get a total of 84 GB data within the validity period.

Airtel has its own Rs 299 pack which offers 2.5 GB high speed data and unlimited call facility for 28 days.
