The IAF today launched a new mobile game titled 'Indian Air Force: A Cut Above’ which offers flight simulator experience on various aircraft including fighter jets, choppers as well as heavy gauge anti-aircraft machine guns used by the IAF to hunt down enemy planes.

The game features a protagonist who looks quite similar to Abhinandan Varthaman sporting his trademark moustache. Players flying aircraft could get control of the planes through touch controls or on-screen buttons. This apart they can also witness the Balakot airstrike in the game.

Developed by Threye: Military Games, which has already a number of military-themed mobile games like Guardians of the Skies to its name will be available in single-player mode on Android and iOS devices. Sources said that the upgradation of the game to a multiplayer theme is also on the anvil.

Experts opine that through the game, the IAF is aiming to attract more youth to join the armed forces.
