A delegation of 24 Odisha MLAs led by Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha called on President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan to congratulate her on getting elected to the highest constitutional post of the country.
The delegation met President Draupadi Murmu and felicitated her on behalf of the Odisha Assembly. The team included 15 BJD MLAs, six BJP MLAs and three Congress legislators.
The MLAs held a discussion with the President over various issues and also discussed about the development of Odisha.
On behalf of Odisha Assembly, Speaker Bikram Arukha presented a beautiful artefact of sibling deities to Draupadi Murmu.
