Amid rising Covid-19 cases, the Odisha government imposed a 14-day strict lockdown across the state. The curbs began on May 5 and will remain in force till May 19. Emergency services have been permitted. Vegetable and grocery shops have been allowed to open from 6 am to 12 pm daily. Further, for the convenience of the public, the government has allowed to and fro movement from the hospitals, railway station and airport.
