‘Maryada Purushottam’ Lord Ram is revered as an ideal king, an obedient son, an affectionate brother and a role model in the truest sense. According to Hindu calendar, every year Ram Navami is celebrated on the ninth day of the Chaitra month, to commemorate the birth of Lord Ram.
Artist Priyanka Sahani made a 9.5 ft acrylic painting on huge rocks at the Sikharchandi forests in capital city Bhubaneswar, depicting the divine relationship between Lord Ram and his disciple Lord Hanuman. It took almost 17 hours for Priyanka to complete the painting.
