It’s time to bid adieu to the winters. Basant Panchami, which marks the arrival of spring season, was celebrated with much fervour across the country today. Basant Panchami is also the day people worship the goddess of knowledge, Maa Saraswati. Preparations for Holi also begin on this auspicious day in parts of India.
