A video of a black panther attacking a street dog has taken the internet by storm. The spine-chilling video has been shared by Sudha Ramen of the Indian Forest Services.

Sudha Ramen tweeted a short clip of the entire incident which was reportedly captured on CCTV.

Sharing the video on March 3, the IFS officer wrote, "They may be Black, that doesn't make them any different. They are still leopards. Here a Black Panther visits a fringe habitation and lifts a dog, which is said to be their favourite prey."

The video got over 23,700 views (at the time when this piece was filed) with some Twitterati terming the incident as disheartening.

On the other hand, some users rued that due to the deliberate deforestation and erasing of forest areas wild animals are straying into human inhabitants.
