Viral obscene video and photos: Youth Leader Itish Pradhan arrested in Bhubaneswar

Youth leader Itish Pradhan has been arrested by Laxmisagar police, Bhubaneswar on Saturday in connection with a case involving the circulation of obscene photos and videos. Police confirmed that Pradhan is currently arrested and being interrogated as part of the investigation.

Complaint Filed After Obscene Content Went Viral

According to reports, an obscene video and photograph of former BJD corporator Amaresh Jena had gone viral a few days ago. Following the incident, a formal complaint was registered at the Laxmisagar Police Station, prompting the police to initiate an investigation into the matter.

After completing the chargesheet in the case, the police obtained a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) against Itish Pradhan. Subsequently, police teams were actively searching for him.

Police Trace and Detain Accused

Acting on specific information about his whereabouts, a team from Laxmisagar police traced Itish Pradhan to the Shaheed Nagar area. He was detained from there and brought to the police station for questioning, before his arrest. Following his arrest, police have intensified the investigation and are examining all available evidence related to the case.

Arrest Decision Yet to Be Taken

Police officials stated that the probe is ongoing and further action will be taken based on the findings.

The arrest of the youth leader has drawn attention to the case involving viral obscene content. As the investigation continues, police are expected to take a final call after assessing the evidence, while reiterating their commitment to proceed strictly in accordance with the law.
