Union Minister Jual Oram condemns KISS student murder, seeks thorough probe and stern action

Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram on Thursday strongly condemned the murder of a student at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), calling the incident highly unfortunate and alarming.

Stating that such incidents have been occurring repeatedly at KISS, the Union Minister said it is a matter of serious concern and stressed the need for greater vigilance. He assured that their government is in place and will ensure a proper investigation into the matter.

"The incident is unfortunate and deeply condemnable. Such incidents are repeatedly occurring at KISS, which is a matter of serious concern. The KISS authorities must remain vigilant and take necessary preventive measures. The matter is currently under investigation and must be probed thoroughly. Our government is in place, and I have full confidence that a proper and impartial investigation will be conducted. Since the Chief Minister hails from Keonjhar and is also in charge of the Home Department, I believe the case will receive due attention," said Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram.

"Stern action should be taken against the culprit after a comprehensive investigation. I strongly condemn the incident, as such acts are unacceptable. The KISS authorities need to exercise greater caution, and the government must ensure a fair and complete investigation, followed by necessary action against those responsible," he added.
