A tusker crushed a motorcycle near Sargigarh village under Koida range in Odisha's Sundargarh district on Saturday. The incident occurred along a forest road when a father and his daughter narrowly escaped being attacked by the elephant.

As per reports, the duo was returning to their village Panposia, from Malda on a motorcycle when the elephant suddenly appeared from the nearby forest. Sensing danger, they abandoned the vehicle and ran for safety. Their timely reaction helped them avoid injury.

Vehicle Completely Damaged

The elephant reportedly trampled the motorcycle, breaking its wheels and damaging all belongings kept on it. Locals later found the vehicle in a completely damaged condition along the roadside.

Fear Among Villagers

The presence of the tusker in the area has created panic among villagers residing near the forest. Residents have requested forest officials to increase monitoring and take necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
