Traffic restrictions imposed in Bhubaneswar for Patha Utsav on January 4

The Bhubaneswar Traffic Police has imposed traffic restrictions in the state capital in view of the Patha Utsav scheduled to be held on January 4. The curbs will remain in force for 12 hours, starting from 11 pm on January 3 until 11 am on January 4, according to an official press release.

As part of the traffic arrangements, vehicular movement will be completely prohibited on the stretch from Master Canteen Square to Ram Mandir Square during the restricted hours. Authorities said the decision was taken to facilitate the smooth organisation of the event and to ensure the safety of participants and the general public.

Traffic Police Advisory

The traffic police have advised commuters not to use the Master Canteen–Ram Mandir route during the restriction period. Motorists have been requested to plan their travel in advance and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.

Public Cooperation Sought

Officials have appealed to residents and commuters to cooperate with traffic personnel and follow the advisory issued for the duration of the restrictions. The police said adherence to the guidelines would help ensure the successful and hassle-free conduct of Patha Utsav in the city.
