Tinder Couple In Rape-Blackmail Row; Odisha Police Registers Cases Against Both

Bhubaneswar: A day after the Commissionerate Police detained a lady lecturer of a private college & a private bank DGM following allegations of rape & blackmail levelled by them respectively against each other, two separate cases have been registered today.

As per reports, Chandrasekhar Police has registered a rape case against one Sunil Prasad Mishra, working at a private bank in the capital city on the basis of the allegations levelled by a woman.

"Without my consent he took my photos and videos when I was unconscious. He was harassing me for last 5 days. I took the help of someone to delete those photos and videos," said the woman.

On the other hand, police also registered a case against the woman after Sunil alleged that she along with her male friends abducted him and forcefully took money from him.

"I didn't rape her, it was consensual. All the captured photos and videos were also taken mutually. I was abducted by her male friends who kept me in confinement for almost a day," the youth alleged.

Sources said that both had met each other through dating application Tinder. As per the Sunil, both met at his residence seven days ago and had a consensual physical relationship and recorded some of their intimate moments.

While Chandrasekharpur Police has launched an investigation into the case, sources said the youth, woman and her male friends will be produced before the court soon.
