During the operation, the police seized a pickup van from the premises of the alleged cattle mafia. However, while the police were attempting to take the seized vehicle away, some villagers reportedly removed pressure from the tyres of the pickup van. As a result, the police faced significant difficulty in moving the vehicle from the spot.

Despite the resistance, the police managed to continue their operation. Sources further revealed that the Keonjhar police have seized a large amount of cash and gold ornaments during raids conducted at the houses of six cattle mafias across different locations in Mayurbhanj district.
