Some of the transgender individuals have alleged that the confrontation between the groups is taking place due to some outsiders from Bangladesh.
As per police sources, efforts were underway to pacify the situation. An investigation has been launched to find out the exact reason behind the confrontation between the groups and the culprits involved in it.
"The other group had gathered at the police station with a minimum of 20 outsiders from Bangladesh to show their majority. All of them had covered their faces with handkerchiefs and caps. They are doing so by taking money and indulging in illegal activities," said Shrabani, a transgender.
"I have got an Aadhaar card, and I can show it. I don't know the reason for the confrontation between the groups of transgender people. However, we are getting harassed for it," said Rohita Padhiar, another transgender.
