“Besides, the committee approved a proposal to install 23 more CCTV cameras on temple premises and bring other temples on Srimandir premises under surveillance,” Mohapatra informed.

Moreover, arrangements for Snana Yatra, Rath Yatra, Bahuda Yatra and Niladri Bije were discussed in detail at the meeting.

On a query regarding the Ratna Bhandar key, the chief administrator said, “As the State government has set up a judicial commission; the temple managing committee has decided to wait for the findings and will take steps subsequently.”

The temple managing committee also decided to constitute a panel with Puri King, SJTA Chief, Collector, Puri SP as members to hold discussions with Shankaracharya on allegations of inadvertent transfer of Govardhan Peeth land to Puri Srimandir records.
