Six injured in multiple car and scooty accidents in Bhubaneswar’s Infovalley

A series of accidents occurred on Sunday morning on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, leaving at least six persons seriously injured. The incident took place in the Madanpur area under Infovalley police station limits.

According to initial reports, a scooty collided with two cars, leading to a chain reaction that caused both vehicles to overturn. The impact was severe, and the two cars skidded off the road to a nearby field.

Six Injured, Admitted to Hospital

Six persons sustained serious injuries in the accident and were rushed to hospital for treatment. Police reached the spot soon after receiving information.

Local residents played a crucial role in rescuing the victims immediately after the crash. Police reportedly initiated the process to recover the damaged cars lying in the adjacent field.

Locals Demand Wider Road

The incident has once again raised concerns over road safety in the area. Locals have demanded that the road be widened to prevent such mishaps in the future. Drivers have also been urged to exercise caution while travelling through the stretch.

As of now, it has not yet been ascertained who was responsible for the accident. Till the last report came in, police officials were present at the spot and further investigation was underway.
