Flesh Trade Racket Busted In RSP Quarters! 3 Including Queen Bee Arrested

Rourkela: In what could be just the tip of an iceberg, police Sunday night busted a sex racket being run from a quarters of the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), and arrested three persons in this connection.

Acting on a directive of Rourkela SP K Siva Subramani, a special squad along with officials of Sector-15 police station conducted a raid at one of the RSP quarters at C-block of Sector-17 of the steel city late last night at around 2AM.

Following the raid, police arrested two customers along with the queen bee of the prostitution ring while two more girls, reportedly residents of West Bengal, were also rescued from the quarters. Police also seized several objectionable materials during the raid.

The pimp on the other hand is claimed to have taken the quarters on rent, despite having another quarters nearby.

It is being said that the raid was conducted based on information provided by the locals, who have alleged that sex rackets are in operation in many such quarters in the area, while in this particular quarters sex trade had been operational for the past three years.

Though there were frequent complaints earlier too, the locals were all praises for the new SP who has swung into action to curb sex and drug rackets being carried out in the city.
