Ruling-BJD appoints 19 spokespersons, 10 TV panelists

Bhubaneswar: The ruling-Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday appointed the party’s state and national spokespersons along with television panelists with immediate effect.

BJD MP Sasmit Patra, who has been named the party’s media coordinator, has also been appointed as the national spokesperson of the party along with three other BJD MPs- Pinaki Mishra, Anubhav Mohanty and Amar Patnaik.

Besides, BJD leader Satyanarayan Sahu has also been given the chance to present party views at the national level.

BJD’s Pratap Deb, Debi Mishra, Prasant Nanda, Ramesh Majhi and Lopamudra Buxipatra are among the 14 party leaders who have been given charge as the party’s State spokespersons.

Meanwhile, as many as 10 BJD leaders including Mihir Mohanty, Santosh Lenka, Biswajit Mohanty and Om Prakash Sahu have been appointed as the TV panelists.
