Meanwhile, the District Education Officer (DEO) stated that appropriate action will be taken if any irregularities are established during the investigation. The DEO further revealed that the school had permission to operate only up to Class VIII. An inquiry will determine under what circumstances the five students were studying in Class 10.

However, no response has been received from the school authorities regarding the allegations.

"Earlier, the school authorities had assured us that my child's admit card had been issued. However, yesterday we were informed that the admit card has not been received due to an alleged mistake in the Aadhaar card details. This sudden change has caused us great concern. My child must appear for the examination at any cost, as missing it would result in the loss of an entire academic year," said K Jyoti, a guardian.

"We have received a complaint stating that a student of a CBSE-affiliated school has been barred from appearing in the examination. We will conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter. The school principal has stated that the student was attending tuition classes at their institution while being enrolled in another school. It has also come to light that the school has CBSE affiliation and permission only up to Class VIII. We will investigate all aspects of the incident. If any irregularities or violations are found, strict action will be taken against the school authorities in accordance with the rules," said Rayagada DEO Mayadhar Sahu.
