"I have lodged an FIR to take action against Shubhankar Mishra for spreading misinformation about Srimandir. Shubhankar had claimed that couples in a romantic relationship visiting the Srimandir before marriage would not be able to get married. From where could he know that when Goddess Radharani once came to the Srimandir to see Lord Krishna in the form of Jagannath, the servitors stopped her, saying that the consort of the Lord was not allowed inside the temple and hearing this, Radharani was angered and cursed the temple. I have lodged an FIR at the Singhadwar Police Station to take action against him. I would request the government to intervene and take necessary steps to formulate special laws so that nobody will be able to dare to spread misinformation about Srimandir again," said senior servitor Gaurahari Pradhan.

"Senior servitor Gaurahari Pradhan has lodged an FIR at the Singhadwar Police Station today that a person identified as Shubhankar Mishra has spread some misinformation about Srimandir in his social media channel named 'Social Talk' to misguide people. It has hurt the sentiments of people. The FIR has been accepted by the police station. A case will be registered and investigation into the incident will be conducted. We will collect all the audios, videos of his statements. Legal opinion about the matter will be taken. Opinions from SJTA will also be taken and the investigation will be conducted," said Puri SP Prateek Singh.
