The agencies responsible for implementing the system have been instructed to fix the shortcomings using appropriate technological solutions. The new arrangement will be rolled out soon.

The Law Minister assured that the new Darshan arrangement will be implemented only after it becomes completely error-free. Once operational, the system is expected to make temple entry and exit smoother and more convenient for devotees coming to Puri.

Minister Harichandan further stated that special provisions are being considered for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and local residents of Puri to ensure hassle-free Darshan. The State government aims to balance technological efficiency with devotee convenience while maintaining the sanctity of temple rituals.

Speaking to mediapersons, the Minister expressed, “When we were about to implement the queue-based Darshan system, a minor glitch was detected in the structure prepared for it. We are trying to resolve the issue with the help of advanced technology.”

“Secondly, we are also trying to smoothen the process of entry and exit from the temple, keeping in mind the convenience of differently-abled and elderly persons. Review of the local residents’ demand for a special arrangement to facilitate their entry and exit is also underway. I hope things will be sorted out soon,” the Law Minister added.
