Replying to a question raised by MLA Chakramani Kanhar, the Chief Minister stated that a total of 94,485 posts remain unfilled in different government departments.
According to the details shared by the Chief Minister, the School and Mass Education Department has the highest number of vacancies, with 20,289 posts yet to be filled. Amid the large number of vacancies, the government has carried out recruitment drives over the past one-and-a-half years. The Chief Minister informed that between June 12, 2024, and February 12, 2026, a total of 39,505 appointments have been completed across various state departments.
The data highlights both the scale of vacancies in the state administration and the ongoing efforts of the government to fill the gaps. However, with over 94,000 posts still vacant, the issue of manpower shortage continues to remain a major administrative challenge.
