Since the timing of the OSSSC exam overlaps directly with the ASO Paper-I (9:00 AM to 10:30 AM), candidates who have applied for both exams are in a dilemma over how to appear for both. Many aspirants have raised questions about the lack of coordination between OPSC and OSSSC.

"The first shift of RI and ASO will start at 9 am each. A candidate appearing for ASO will have to sit in the examinations throughout the day. The candidate who will appear in the RI examination will not be able to sit in the other two examinations of ASO. The issue was earlier reported to the OPSC. However, they overlooked it and didn't fix the issue till the last moment," said Sunil Mishra, a candidate.

However, no official response has yet been received from the concerned higher authorities regarding the issue.
