Areas once known as Maoist strongholds are now witnessing the establishment of Border Security Force (BSF) camps.
In one such development, a new BSF camp has been inaugurated at Parigada area under Kotagarh police limits in Kandhamal district. The camp was formally opened by Odisha Zone BSF Inspector General Shiv Adhar Shrivastava on Saturday.
On this occasion, BSF personnel reportedly organised a public outreach camp, emphasising the importance of ensuring the safety and security of local residents.
