Bhubaneswar: 65 more persons recuperated from COVID-19 in Odisha, taking the total recoveries to 1481 on Thursday.

A highest of 14 persons recovered from Ganjam, 10 each from Jagatsinghpur & Kendrapara, 8 from Bhadrak, 7 from Keonjhar, 6 from Bolangir, 3 from Khurda, 2 each from Balasore & Jajpur and 1 each from Dhenkanal, Jharsuguda & Kandhamal.

As many as 90 persons were tested positive with novel-Coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the State taking the cumulative Covid-19 tally in Odisha to 2,478 on Thursday. Of the new 90 COVID-19 cases, Khurda reported highest 25 cases while Ganjam reported 22 cases followed by Dhenkanal 10, Bhadrak 9 and Nayagarh 7 cases.

Similarly, five each cases were detected in Sundergarh and Cuttack district, two from Puri and one each case from Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Balasore and Kalahandi districts, added the State Health and Family Welfare Department.

As per health and family welfare department, 79 cases were reported from various quarantine centres across the State, the rest 11 cases are local contacts.
