Odisha youth battling for life in Bengaluru after tragic road accident, family seeks MP Baijayant Panda’s help

A young man from the Kendrapara district of Odisha is battling for his life after sustaining critical injuries in a road accident in Bengaluru, with financial constraints emerging as a major obstacle to his treatment. The victim, identified as Mrutyunjay Baral, is currently undergoing treatment in a critical condition at a private hospital in Bengaluru.

Mrutyunjay is the only son of Satyabrata Baral of Kor village under Nikirai police station limits in Kendrapara district. He had been working with a private company in Bengaluru to support his family. The accident reportedly occurred when he was riding a motorcycle along with a friend to his workplace. Their bike was hit by another vehicle, leaving Mrutyunjay seriously injured.

According to sources, doctors have advised immediate surgery and advanced medical care, which is expected to cost several lakh rupees. However, the family’s poor financial condition has made it extremely difficult to arrange the required funds. Friends and villagers have come forward to help, but the amount collected so far is insufficient to meet the medical expenses.

In this dire situation, Mrutyunjay’s family members and villagers have made an emotional appeal to BJP National Vice-President and Member of Parliament Baijayant Panda, seeking financial assistance to save his life. They have urged for support to ensure timely and proper treatment.

“He had been to Bengaluru. He met with an accident and is admitted to a hospital. His condition is serious now. I request that the government extend help for his treatment. I request Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda to save my son’s life,” said the boy’s mother, tears welling in her eyes.
