In a shocking case of alleged human trafficking, a woman from Bolangir district claimed that she was sold by her husband and trafficked to Dubai.
The woman has appealed to the government for her rescue through a video message sent from Dubai.
According to reports, the incident is linked to Burabandh village under Titilagarh police station limits in Bolangir district. The woman alleged that her husband, Prema Mahanand, sold her around seven years ago to a family in Mumbai. She further claimed that the same family later sold her to another party in Dubai.
From Dubai, the woman has sought urgent intervention from the authorities for her rescue and safe return to India.
