The Odisha Pavilion will present the State’s theme, “Odisha – From AI to Impact,” highlighting its transition from pilot projects to real-world AI deployments across key sectors, including governance, healthcare, agriculture, education, disaster management, and urban infrastructure. The initiative is anchored in a structured implementation model backed by strong institutional capacity.

The pavilion aims to demonstrate how Odisha is leveraging AI not just as an emerging technology, but as a tool for scalable governance and socio-economic transformation. By focusing on practical implementation and long-term infrastructure development, the State seeks to position itself as a leading AI-driven innovation hub in India.

A major highlight of Odisha’s participation is its strategic collaboration with Sarvam, reflecting the State’s commitment to building sovereign AI capabilities, enabling population-scale Odia-language AI applications, and strengthening advanced AI infrastructure and compute capacity. The move underscores Odisha’s ambition to develop inclusive and accessible AI solutions tailored to regional needs.

More than 10 innovation startups and ecosystem entities will feature at the Odisha Pavilion. The lineup includes applied AI startups, research organisations, technology partners and government-linked AI initiatives. Together, they will showcase Odisha’s expanding innovation pipeline and its approach to democratising access to AI technologies and resources.

Odisha Minister Mukesh Mahaling expressed pride in the State’s early and proactive approach to AI adoption. “It is a matter of great joy that Odisha was the first state in India to approve the AI Policy 2025 in the Cabinet, and as a result, the Regional AI Impact Summit was also held in Odisha. And now, finally, the Indian AI Impact Summit is taking place today. We have also set up a big pavilion at the Summit,” he said.
