On the occasion of National Youth Day on January 12, a collective rendition of 'Vande Mataram' will be organised across all educational institutions in Odisha.
Along with this, students will take a collective pledge on 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Swadeshi Sankalp' (self-reliant India indigenous pledge).
To ensure the smooth and uniform conduct of the programme, training programmes are being organised across the State. As part of the initiative, the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Swadeshi Sankalp' will be read in all educational institutions on the day.
In this regard, the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department has issued necessary instructions to all the district Collectors. For effective implementation, all districts of the State have been grouped into five zones-Jeypore, Berhampur, Balasore, Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar, where zonal-level training programmes are being conducted.

As part of this initiative, the Bhubaneswar Zonal-Level 'Vande Mataram' training programme was organised at Utkal University on Saturday. The programme witnessed the participation of Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, who attended the event as the chief guest.
The state government aims to foster a sense of patriotism, cultural pride and self-reliance among students through this large-scale collective initiative on National Youth Day.
