The annual event aims to promote skill development among youths of Odisha, encouraging them to pursue excellence in their respective fields. By recognising top performers, the State government seeks to inspire more students to participate in the competition and enhance their competencies for future opportunities.

Addressing a gathering, the CM said, “Whenever we think of creating a ‘Samruddha Odisha and speak about ‘Bikashita Odisha’ in this context, we not only think about how its infrastructure will be developed, what will be its economic index, and how these will progress. Our main aim is to determine how much we can empower our people and build skills in them.”

“Otherwise, we will not be able to reach our goal in our vision of achieving ‘Samruddha Odisha’ by the year 2036. And to achieve this goal, the stronger the skills of our youth become, the brighter their future,” CM Majhi stated.

“If the future of youths becomes brighter, it will certainly help make the future of Odisha brighter and prosperous too. We will strive to ensure that contributions of the people from all sections of society will be there for Odisha’s economy,” the CM added.
