Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari shifted to AIIMS Delhi for advanced treatment

Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari was referred to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, for advanced treatment on Thursday. He was referred there after undergoing medical care at AIIMS Bhubaneswar for a heart-related ailment.

According to information, the minister was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar after experiencing chest pain. Following treatment for a few days, doctors advised that he seek further medical care at AIIMS Delhi, where advanced facilities are available.

Referred For Advanced Medical Care

Sources said the decision to refer the minister to Delhi was taken based on medical advice to ensure specialised treatment and further evaluation.

After being discharged from AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Pujari left for Delhi at around 09:00 am on Thursday. He departed from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on a flight.

Officials indicated that the referral was part of a precautionary medical approach to facilitate access to advanced healthcare facilities available at the premier institute.

Condition Reported Stable

Reports suggested that the minister’s health condition had not deteriorated at the time of reporting. Sources said he remained stable during his stay at AIIMS Bhubaneswar before being advised to continue treatment in Delhi.

Pujari was under medical observation for a heart-related issue, and the decision to continue treatment at AIIMS Delhi was taken after consultation among the attending doctors.
