Odisha govt effects major OAS reshuffle, several officers' earlier postings cancelled Photograph: (OTV)
The Odisha government has effected a significant reshuffle in the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS), transferring and posting several senior officers across key departments.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Sibo Narayan Sahu has been appointed as Special Secretary to Government in the Parliamentary Affairs Department.
Monalisa Lenka has been posted as Deputy Director General (Administration) at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, while Sashank Sekhar Dash has been shifted to the Health and Family Welfare Department as Additional Secretary.
The government has also cancelled earlier postings of some officers. Soojata Mesra will continue as Special Secretary in the ST & SC Development and M&BCW Department while Prafulla Kumar Swain will remain as Additional Secretary in CMGC, as their earlier transfers were revoked.
Similarly, Sanjay Kumar Pratihari will continue as Land Officer, IDCO, with his earlier posting as Additional IG of Prisons cancelled.
Other notable changes include Dharitri Mishra retaining her role in the Co-operation Department, Mamata Rani Naik being moved to the Housing and Urban Development Department, and Dharmendra Mallik appointed as General Manager of OTDC on foreign service terms.

Chinmaya Kumar Acharya has been posted as GM of Odisha State Medical Corporation, and Ashok Kumar Das as Deputy Commissioner of BMC, Bhubaneswar.
