Odisha board & corporation appointments likely soon; BJP prepares list, awaits Central approval

Board and corporation appointments in Odisha are expected to be announced soon. As per reports, the state BJP has already finalised the list and is now awaiting approval from the central leadership.

BJP state in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar informed about the development on Monday.

Tomar clarified that there will be no Cabinet expansion at this stage. He added that all pending organisational work will be completed after the by-election victory.

Tomar thanked the people of Nuapada and party workers for the thumping victory in the recently-concluded bypoll.

"I am hopeful that it will be announced soon, as per the decision of the central leadership. We have tried our best, and the list will be sent to the central leadership. Decisions in this regard will be taken soon," said BJP state in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar.

Though the BJP has formed its first-ever solo government in the State, many key board and corporation positions still remain vacant.

As per sources, many leaders of the BJP are going to be rewarded by getting board and corporation appointments post the Nuapada bypoll victory.
