20 families from Odisha congregated at the CBI office in Bhubaneswar on Friday to protest 'injustice' meted out to them by the State government.

According to the reports; the families submitted a memorandum to the CBI Director through the Superintendent of Police (SP), CBI in Bhubaneswar.

They alleged, "Crimes that are the most talked about in the state like murders, kidnappings, human organ smugglings have always fell in the deaf ears of the state government. Some of the most prominent ministers and leaders of the ruling BJD party are involved in the criminal activities and hence the people are awaiting justice since ages."

Kidnapped minor girl Pihu’s mother Mansi Nayak who was also present among the protesters, alleged, “It has been 2 years that for justice we have knocked every possible door of the legal system but have found no justice except false promises. Why this government is not listening to us? Don’t they consider us humans?”

'Nyaya Pain Ladhei' member, Subrat Dash said, “We, 20 victim families from all across Odisha have repeatedly requested the state government for justice, but our pleas have always fallen in deaf ears. Today we have submitted a memorandum to the SP (CBI) about the atrocities addressing to the CBI Director in New Delhi and we hope for justice.”

Let it be minor girl Pihu kidnapping case or Nayagarh's Pari murder case, no one in these cases have got justice till now. As alleged by the family members, the Jajpur double murder case is also in a limbo.
