A newborn baby boy was found dead on a roadside in Godabarish Nagar area of Odisha’s Rayagada district late on Thursday night, sending shockwaves through the locality.
According to preliminary information, the infant’s body, wrapped in a cloth, was allegedly dumped on the road under the cover of darkness. Local residents discovered the body on Friday morning and immediately informed the police.
Police Recover Body, Begin Investigation
Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and recovered the body of the newborn. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination as part of the investigation.
